Job Description
Built for Delivery
Green Leaf Construction was founded in 2014 by professionals with decades of experience providing construction management and design build services. Our team is well positioned to support clients from project conception to final construction. By offering turnkey, client-oriented services, we are better able to act in the project’s best interest to control the value, quality, and timeliness of the end product.
Our dedicated personnel work seamlessly with each client to create an integrated and efficient project team. We have a wide range of experience in construction techniques and delivery methods, and have built facilities for clients in advanced technology, healthcare, scholastic, commercial and industrial markets. The MissionAs a travelling Carpenter, you’ll take senior-level ownership of high-visibility commercial builds—driving outcomes, protecting schedule, and setting the craftsmanship bar on jobs that move.
Key responsibilitiesYou roll into a new site ready to make an immediate mark—checking the plan set, aligning with the Foreman/superintendent on priorities, and setting a crisp pace for the crew. Travel and overnights are part of the rhythm, and each stop brings a fresh puzzle: tight tolerances, shifting site conditions, and coordination moments where your judgment keeps momentum alive. Between lifts, layout checks, and punch-list pushes, you’re the steady hand that keeps quality sharp and clients confident. By day’s end, you’ve advanced the build, cleared tomorrow’s constraints, and left the site cleaner, safer, and closer to turnover—classic Commercial Construction, delivered with Design Build intensity.
Total RewardsMedical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); life insurance and voluntary life insurance; Health Savings Account (HSA); AFLAC cancer, critical illness, and accident coverage; paid time off; employee discounts; pet insurance; competitive total compensation ($30–$50/hour).
As part of the hiring process you may be required to submit to a background, drug and alcohol and/or motor vehicle check.
