Receiving Freight & Compliance Inspector SIV - Logan Township

This role is essential for maintaining operational efficiency, ensuring inventory accuracy, and upholding quality control standards within the warehouse environment.

Pay Rates

• 23.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements for Receiving Freight & Compliance Inspector SIV

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse, receiving, or quality inspection experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with RF scanners or WMS systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and compliance guidelines
• Good communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish is a plus)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Role Responsibilities for Receiving Freight & Compliance Inspector SIV

• Inspect incoming freight for accuracy, damage, and compliance with company standards
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing slips, and system records
• Document discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or damages and report findings promptly
• Ensure all received goods meet labeling, packaging, and compliance requirements
• Utilize RF scanners, warehouse management systems, or computers to log and track inventory
• Communicate with receiving team, supervisors, and vendors regarding shipment issues
• Maintain organized and clean receiving and inspection areas
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times
• Assist with unloading, staging, and directing freight as needed
• Support audits and compliance checks as required
